Buckeye Basketball

College basketball is at its peak here in Columbus, as the Buckeyes find them selves with the nation's top ranking, as well as a 19-0 record. They are playing as a team, and even when the games become closer than desired, they have yet to choke in the end. Ohio State is coming off a recent demoralization of Iowa, and look to keep the winning streak going Saturday at Illinois. In my opinion, this will have been the Buckeyes biggest test up to date, as Illinois is a tough team, especially in such a hostile playing environment. I would not be suprised to see Ohio State lose this game, simply because, in college basketball, it is virtually impossible to run the table. The Bukeyes talent wise are above the Illini, but this should be a difficult game regardless. I give this match up a "must see" rating, as it should attract many television sets in and around Columbus.

All in all, the Buckeyes are good, real good. None of their players, at the time being, are Citgo worthy, and they seem to be playing as a team as good as any other program in all of college basketball. Look for them to finish in the top 5 in the country this season, and earn a #1 seed for the tourny. Expect the Buckeyes to go deep, and for a very entertaining remainder of the college basketball season. I'm out, Go Bucks!
