The 7th season for the Tripod Plus league got off to a roaring start for The Year of the Clevelanders (1-0) and B Bow's Bombers (1-0), both picking up a W.
The Clevelanders pulled out the win thanks in part to a stellar performance by Andre Johnson. Johnson notched 119 yards on the day and hauled in one TD. He accounted for 17.9 points out of a total 75.6 put up by the Clevelanders in a 75.6 - 70.9 victory over the Ginga Ningas (0-1).
In a higher scoring affair B Bow's Bombers kocked off Cap City B*tch (0-1) 105.3 - 104.2. Leading the way for the Bombers was another Houston Texan, Arian Foster. Foster found the endzone for two scores on Sunday afternoon and scored 19.5 points for the Bombers. The difference in this fantasy matchup with Cap City B*tch was the D/ST position.
Bombers' owner Brandon Bowers elected to pick up the Jets D/ST 35 minutes before games began and positions locked at 1 pm. The Jets had a field day against the Bills and put up big time points leading the Bombers to victory.
In week two the teams will switch opponents with the Clevelanders taking on Cap City B*tch and the Bombers up against Ginga Ninjas.
